Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the D Shift (Mon-Thurs, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) in Georgia.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment and coordinating with production, engineering, and quality to minimize downtime. Candidates should have 3–5+ years in maintenance planning in automotive manufacturing, knowledge of CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint, Fiix), and familiarity with PdM techniques.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years of maintenance planning experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint, Fiix, or similar).
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and reliability tools (RCM, RCA, FMEA).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules for equipment; prioritize work orders by risk, production needs, safety requirements, and asset criticality.
• Lead PdM using vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, and oil analysis.
• Support RCA, FMEA, and reliability improvements with engineering.
• Manage CMMS administration, asset records, and KPIs like PM completion rates, MTBF, MTTR.
• Create accurate BOMs and manage spare parts and inventory levels.
• Ensure safety permits, lockout/tagout, and compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OSHA.
