Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, OH is seeking a Data Analyst to deliver Predictive Analytic Health Score data for UPS and Thermal systems. You will analyze service history, operation, environment, and data acquisition to identify risks and transition emergency repairs into scheduled maintenance.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and field teams to refine models, improve incident reporting, and drive operational efficiency across a large asset base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or mathematical field with 5+ years in data center critical power or thermal applications.
• Strong data analysis and investigative techniques with telemetry experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, and Excel for data processing and visualization.
• Ability to communicate findings to both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design health scorecards and deliver real-time visibility.
• Validate predictive incidents with field results to refine models and improve accuracy.
• Bridge Next Predict Team and Field Operations to enhance tool functionality and reporting.
• Develop analytics solutions using Python, SQL, and Tableau to accelerate data processing.
• Analyze trends and escalate systemic issues for swift remediation and reliability gains.
• Partner with Engineering to integrate sensors and monitoring into data streams for model improvement.
• Lead reviews with customers and stakeholders to present findings and action plans.
• Curate a knowledgebase of symptoms, root causes, and corrective actions for ML outcomes.
• Report program updates and metrics to management, highlighting wins and growth opportunities.
