Job summary

Fionics in New York seeks a trader with a proven track record in prediction or event-driven markets to join a fast-moving, ground-floor mandate. The role centers on making accurate calls when real money is on the line, across dynamic markets.

You will trade event contracts across platforms, build resolvable-outcome models, provide liquidity, and seek edge where the crowd is wrong, using a blend of systematic coding and discretionary judgment under pressure.

Qualifications

• Real track record of making money in prediction or event-driven markets.
• Sharp probabilistic reasoning and a sense for where the crowd is wrong.
• Systematic coding and modelling; discretionary judgment under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Trade event contracts across Polymarket, Kalshi and similar.
• Build models for resolvable-outcome markets (elections, sports, macro).
• Provide liquidity and manage inventory across venues.
• Find edge in markets not yet widely respected.
