Carsguam is seeking a Pre-Delivery Inspector in Tamuning, GU to thoroughly inspect each vehicle before delivery according to company procedures. The role involves exterior washing, interior cleaning, engine testing, and safety checks to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

The position requires the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work a full-time schedule. Training and benefits are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of automotive experience preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Washes and waxes exterior of vehicles.
• Cleans and vacuums interior of vehicles.
• Starts engine and tests steering, brakes, transmission and engine operation.
• Tests power equipment and electronics to verify performance.
• Ensures vehicle interiors are clean and free of debris.
• Inspects vehicles for loose or misaligned items and damage.
• Records discrepancies for each vehicle.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and safe workflow.
• Reports safety issues to management promptly.
• Performs duties in other areas as required.

# PreDelivery InspectorTamuning, GU 96931Start Date 04/20/2025End Date 12/31/2025## Description**Summary/Objective**The Pre-Delivery Inspector thoroughly and accurately inspects each vehicle prior to delivery in accordance with Triple J’s procedures and instructions.**Essential Functions**Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Washes and waxes exterior of vehicles.2. Cleans and vacuums interior of vehicles.3. Starts engine and drives the vehicle to test steering, brakes, transmission, and engine operation.4. Activates power equipment such as electric windows, seats, radio, horn, lights and directional signals to ensure specified operating standards.5. Ensures vehicle interiors are clean and free of debris.6. Inspects vehicles for loose or misaligned items such as trim, doors, and hardware.7. Records discrepancies for each vehicle.8. Ensures work area is clean and organized.9. Maintains a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.10. Adheres to established quality and safety standards.11. Reports any safety issues immediately to management.12. Performs duties in other areas as required.**WORK ENVIRONMENT**Work is regularly performed primarily in the PDI work area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions.**Position Type**This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Must be able to work 8 hours a day and will be given a regular day off.## Qualifications**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**1.
