Job summary

Triple J is seeking a Pre-Delivery Inspector in Tamuning, GU to thoroughly inspect each vehicle prior to delivery. You will detail vehicles and perform inspections in accordance withTriple J’s procedures.

The role requires the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions, a valid driver’s license, and 1–3 years of automotive experience. The position is full-time and based in the PDI area with standard Monday–Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years automotive experience preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Detail vehicles: cleaning, waxing, vacuuming, windows, stickers removal.
• Perform and record inspections per manufacturers’ requirements.
• Ensure interior is clean and debris-free.
• Inspect and tag any discrepancies.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Maintain safety and follow all policies and procedures.
• Adhere to established quality and safety standards.
• Perform duties in other areas as required.

Overview / Objective

The Pre-Delivery Inspector thoroughly and accurately inspects each vehicle prior to delivery in accordance with Triple J’s procedures and instructions.

Essential Functions

• Detailing of vehicles to include cleaning, vacuuming, waxing, cleaning windows, removal of tapes, plastic stickers, and markings.
• Perform and record inspections as required by vehicle manufacturers.
• Ensure interior of vehicle is clean and free of debris.
• Inspect and tag any discrepancies.
• Ensure work area is clean and organized.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
• Adhere to established quality and safety standards.
• Perform duties in other areas as required.

Work Environment

Work is regularly performed primarily in the PDI work area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions.

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift/carry at least 50 lbs. is required.

Position Type

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Must be able to work 8 hours a day and will be given a regular day off.
