Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Gaylord, MN is seeking a precooked egg product associate responsible for preparation and packaging in the precooked area, ensuring product meets size, weight and quality specifications. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and GMP standards.

Shifts begin early (5:30am–7:00am) and end around 2:30pm–3:30pm. Tasks include realigning products, inspections, sanitation, filling, folding omelets, counting patties, and assembling boxes while safeguarding

Qualifications

• Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
• Perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product coming out of ovens for proper size, shape, color and weight to ensure specifications are met.
• Realign products prior to entering the freezer to ensure the final frozen product is a flat, smooth, uniform shape.
• Inspect product prior to robot to sort out any product damages throughout the freezing process, or otherwise not conforming to company and customer set standards.
• Sanitation duties as necessary.
• Add filling to products requiring it.
• Fold omelets or squares.
• Count patties and add the proper number to each case.
• Assembly of boxes and insertion of bags.
• Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety
• Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location Description

Michael Foods, Inc. located in Gaylord, Minnesota is Minnesota's Healthy Heartland! Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County". Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets.

Responsibilities

Shift Times for this position start between the hours of 5:30am-7:00am and finish between 2:30pm- 3:30pm, depending on the business need.

The pay range for this position is $18.36 to $21.16 per hour.
