Job summary

DOC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager for the New England region, leading design and planning efforts to ensure predictable, cost-effective outcomes. You will partner with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to align on scope, cost, schedule, and constructability ahead of construction.

This hybrid role reports to the Director of Preconstruction and requires 7–10 years of CM experience, with a focus on risk management, budgeting, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of construction management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Preconstruction Process with detailed work plans and stakeholder coordination.
• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor design progress and ensure alignment with budgets and owner objectives.
• Coordinate from preconstruction to the construction project management team.
• Support proposal development and internal process improvements.
