Job summary

Coakley & Williams Construction, LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to support estimating and preconstruction efforts for commercial projects in Bethesda, MD. This role focuses on securing profitable work, managing risk, and strengthening client and subcontractor relationships throughout the bid and preconstruction process.

You will work with leadership, operations, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop scopes, produce estimates, and own bid packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
• LEED Accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in securing profitable new work and mitigating project risk.
• Develop bid strategy and produce conceptual and detailed estimates.
• Create bid lists, analyze subcontractor bids and support value engineering.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, and client relations to meet objectives.
• Supports preconstruction meetings and post-bid reviews with owners.
