Job summary

CaseCo Commercial in Purcellville, VA is seeking a Commercial Estimator & Pre-Construction Manager with at least 5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction. You will manage the preconstruction phase, prepare detailed cost estimates, and lead bid packaging and client presentations.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients, drive value engineering, risk mitigation, and business development efforts to secure profitable projects while upholding CaseCo's standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction (conceptual & hard bid).
• Proven experience in managing preconstruction phases and value-engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in estimation software (BlueBeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Excel).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire preconstruction process from budgeting to bid preparation.
• Prepare detailed labor, material, and equipment estimates.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, bid packaging, and negotiations.
• Develop and maintain client and vendor relationships for competitive bidding.
• Provide value engineering and risk mitigation throughout projects.
