Proven experience in preconstruction management, ideally within the Data Centre, automotive, or mission-critical sectors. Strong tenure and stability in previous roles, preferably with mid-to-large general contractors. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with owners and stakeholders. Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, scheduling, and value engineering. Familiarity with complex projects; experience in multi-family, retail, or restaurant projects is not preferred. Willingness to travel as needed for meetings and site visits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine project scopes and budgets. Conduct detailed reviews of project plans, specifications, and contracts. Lead pre-bid meetings and manage subcontractor relationships. Present project proposals and updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate cost estimates. Support the transition from preconstruction to construction, ensuring a seamless handoff to project teams.
This is an exciting time to join a company that is expanding into new markets and building a strong foundation for future growth. As a 100% employee-owned organization, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where every team member has a stake in our success.
Note: Travel may be required for meetings and site visits, particularly for mission-critical positions. Travel expenses will be covered.
