Job summary

Oline Construction is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, budgeting, design coordination, and project pursuits from opportunity through contract award. This role offers a chance to shape projects early by collaborating with development, design, and construction professionals.

Based in the Omaha, Nebraska area, you will guide the preconstruction team, manage risk, and support negotiations to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in preconstruction or estimating.
• Experience with commercial or industrial construction.
• Strong budgeting, GMPs, contracts, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead project pursuits, estimating, budgeting, and proposal development.
• Manage subcontractor pricing, scope development, and cost analysis.
• Coordinate design reviews, constructability, and value engineering.
• Identify project risks and support contract negotiations.
• Partner with operations, engineering, clients, and trade partners.
• Lead and develop preconstruction team members.
• Ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to construction execution.
