Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. This is a pivotal role that will play a vital part in the success of our construction projects from the initial stages to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all preconstruction activities, including project estimation, subcontracting, budgeting, estimating, and planning. This role will also involve project management, project bidding, and construction management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all preconstruction activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and within the project's timeline.
• Develop accurate and comprehensive project estimates and budgets, working closely with clients, architects, and engineers.
• Manage subcontractor selection and negotiation process, ensuring all contracts are fair and beneficial.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Lead project bidding processes, ensuring all bids are competitive and accurate.
• Utilize project management skills to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Work closely with the construction management team to ensure all plans, specifications, and budgets are followed accurately during the construction phase.
• Drive preconstruction planning activities, including design review, constructability analysis, and value engineering.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring all communications are clear, timely, and professional.

Qualifications
