Job summary

Actalent in Dallas, TX is seeking a seasoned preconstruction estimator to lead cost analysis from concept through award. You will develop estimates, budgets, and pricing strategies while reviewing plans for constructability and risk.

You will coordinate with clients, design teams, and trade partners, manage bids, perform takeoffs in OST and Excel, and identify value engineering opportunities to drive project success.

Leads estimating and preconstruction from concept through award, providing cost analysis, constructability reviews, and project strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• 5+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or commercial construction.
• Experience with BuildingConnected, OST, and Excel.
• Commercial construction experience (industrial, office, retail, or TI).
• Strong plan-reading, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to build and maintain trade partner relationships.

Preferred

• General contractor or design-build experience.
• Experience presenting to clients and leadership.
• Trade experience with progression into estimating or preconstruction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
