Job summary

Lithko Contracting, LLC in Plain City, OH, is seeking a Preconstruction Lead with a strong business development and estimation background to drive bid strategy, estimates, and client negotiations. You will manage the turnover process and ensure a proper backlog for Lithko's business unit.

Build market relationships, validate estimates, and align future projects with Lithko's capabilities. Lead teams to execute projects with a smooth turnover to Operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction for a large self-perform contractor.
• Self-perform concrete experience is required.
• Strong business development background and market knowledge preferred.
• Estimating background preferred.
• Experience with diverse project types, especially commercial/industrial.
• General construction knowledge with projects over $1M.

Responsibilities

• Be a geographical expert at identifying work opportunities in commercial construction.
• Align future projects with the business unit's capabilities.
• Build relationships within the market to secure new business.
• Validate estimates and formulate a bid strategy.
• Prepare and manage teams to execute based on project details and client expectations.
• Deliver a project turnover to Lithko Operations Teams using the proper turnover process.
