Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or five years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a high-performing team environment.
• Proficiency in cost control, procurement, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handling buyout of project subcontracted activities from first budget estimate through contracts.
• Assemble a complete, presentation-worthy estimate package communicating project cost.
• Knowledge of unit costs and factors affecting construction cost.
• Prepare detailed instructions to bidders, clarifications, and bid packages.
• Experience with the bidding process: RFPs, bids, evaluations, and leveling bids.
• Analyze scope, schedule, and cost of contractor bids to identify best procurement options.
• Coordinate cross-functional feedback to ensure services meet technical, business, and legal requirements.
• Lead and present cost/budget information to internal teams.
• Contribute to RFP responses and project presentations as part of the team.
• Lead value engineering sessions with project and design teams.
• Collect performance data and present metrics to guide strategic decisions.
• Support vendor setup, POs, expediting payments, and change management.
• Drive continuous improvement via root-cause analysis and process changes.
• Source and contract new subcontractors and third-party services as needed.
