Job summary

AECOM Hunt invites you to join our Preconstruction Intern team in Dallas, TX for Summer 2027. You will help develop project concepts prior to construction, estimate quantities, and assist in creating preliminary schedules while learning logistics planning and project management.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, with at least one year of study completed, and demonstrate the ability to follow directions, learn new technologies, and

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering and/or similar discipline and must have completed at least 1 year of study.
• Recent graduates may apply if planning to pursue advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of a project prior to on-site construction.
• Cost estimating using 2D takeoff or 3D model quantities.
• Schedule development and review project documentation.
• Logistics planning including site phasing, access and laydown areas.
• Follow instructions from senior staff and meet required schedules.
