Job summary

You will interface with architects/engineers, prepare comprehensive cost estimates, and participate in bid opportunities to drive value for projects. Responsibilities include analyzing variance, negotiating with trade partners, and maintaining vendor relationships for future bids.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in construction in a similar or related role.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support Preconstruction and Operations with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Develop cost estimates and proposals for bid opportunities.
• Buy out trade packages and analyze bid details and exclusions.
• Negotiate with trade partners/vendors and maintain relationships for bids.
