This role handles conceptual and schematic estimating, negotiated and competitive bid estimates, interfacing with project managers and support teams, and building strong client relationships to achieve precise estimates.

Responsibilities include quantity takeoffs, subcontractor packages, plan reviews, bid proposals, addenda, and value engineering ideas to optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a construction-related discipline is preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of construction estimating experience or equivalent responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of drawings, documents, and specifications, as well as construction management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial estimates per bid procedures including quantity take-off.
• Prepare subcontractor packages and scopes of work.
• Reviews plans, specifications, and Owner requirements.
• Prepare bid proposals with cost breakdown and exclusions.
• Processes RFIs and addenda during pricing.
• Prepare subcontract takeoffs for various trades.
