Job summary

SCG Fields, LLC is seeking an Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for athletic facility construction projects. You will analyze drawings, specs, geotechnical reports, and other documentation to forecast costs, including self-perform work and subcontractor scopes.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction means, market conditions, and cost drivers. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and field teams, lead bid reviews, and communicate risks and opportunities to

Qualifications

Experience developing detailed cost estimates from drawings and specs.
Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid or equivalent estimating software.
Ability to coordinate with PMs, engineers, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
Develop comprehensive cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and indirect costs.
Lead bid preparation, solicit bids, and present estimates to leadership.
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and field teams to validate assumptions and ensure constructability.
Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
