Job summary

Paycom Construction is seeking a skilled estimator for our Missouri City, TX office. The role supports the preconstruction and estimating department in fast-paced projects, bids, and budgets.

You will read construction documents, analyze drawings, and prepare detailed estimates with accurate Excel cost data. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a degree in construction management or engineering, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience estimating projects in the $5M-$20M range.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare estimates.
• Create and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets of costs and data.
• Draft preliminary budgets for review by project team.
• Review subcontractor quotations for accuracy and scope.
• Attend bid walk-throughs and respond to questions.
• Identify and research potential subcontractors.
