Howard CDM, a Southern California-based commercial construction and development company, seeks an Estimating Coordinator to join our Bellflower team. The role supports preconstruction and estimating activities, coordinating bid opportunities, maintaining bid documentation, and communicating with subcontractors and vendors.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with construction bidding and subcontractor coordination.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, bid coordination, or a related construction role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Bluebeam and/or construction bidding software preferred.
• Ability to read and navigate construction drawings, specifications, project manuals, and bid documents.
• Experience performing or assisting with material quantity takeoffs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Preconstruction and Estimating Department.
• Research new bid opportunities and maintain and update the bid list.
• Maintain the Job Walk Calendar, Bid Calendar, and Project Tracker.
• Assign proposal numbers to new bid opportunities.
