Job summary

Acendion Collective, part of The Fischer Group, is expanding its preconstruction team with a dedicated Preconstruction Engineer. You will support estimates, bid management, and GMP proposals for multifamily and mixed-use projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with preconstruction, development, and operations teams to set budgets, define scopes, and ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, procurement, project engineering, or project management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software and bid management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and assembling GMP proposals and supporting documentation.
• Lead bid leveling, scope comparisons, and analysis for trade coverage.
• Develop scopes of work for subcontractor bidding (multifamily).
• Support subcontractor outreach, prequalification, and bid management using TradeTapp.
