Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Preconstruction Manager for Greater St Louis to support the preconstruction team in delivering accurate, competitive, and well-organized project estimates. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone eager to learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced preconstruction professionals.

We are a St Louis-based commercial general contractor known for delivering high-quality projects across a variety of market sectors, focusing on building long-term partnerships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction, 1+ year of experience in estimating.
• Strong desire to learn and build a career in preconstruction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to estimating software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs under the supervision of Preconstruction Managers and Estimators
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bid packages
• Conduct subcontractor outreach and collect bid information
• Support design reviews, constructability analysis, and cost data tracking
• Participate in client and design team meetings as appropriate
• Learn company systems, processes, and standards through hands-on training
• Perform other duties as assigned
