Job summary

PC Construction seeks a Collaborative Delivery Director to lead preconstruction for large water and wastewater projects, overseeing design development across design-build and CMAR lifecycles and coordinating with engineering, estimating, operations, and purchasing teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering or Construction Management, 10+ years in design development for water/wastewater facilities, and strong leadership and communication skills; a DBIA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• At least ten years of experience in engineering design development for water/wastewater facilities.
• DBIA certification and diverse background in design, operations, estimating and business development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of preconstruction proposals, fees, GCs/GRs and bill rates.
• Interview and present for projects.
• Lead and participate in VE, MOPO, HAZOP, Risk, and related workshops.
• Prepare and present content for owners.
• Coordinate and manage engineering design subcontractors.
• Manage preconstruction schedule and budget.
• Track, manage, and deliver design deliverables.
• Coordinate overall project pricing and descoping for GMP development.
• Support purchasing and operations in buyout.
• Promote and model a safety culture consistent with company goals.
• Manage a team of estimators and/or operations personnel in preconstruction.
• Mentor and train preconstruction teams.
• Develop and grow client and engineering partner relationships.
• Attend local trade shows and industry events.
• Provide leads and coordinate with Directors of Business Development.
