Qualifications

• 2+ years of bid or project coordination in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and working knowledge of drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Set up new bids, run the bid calendar and track deadlines, pre-bid meetings and site visits.
• Build subcontractor and supplier lists, issue invitations to bid and chase proposals.
• Log and organize proposals, flag gaps and exclusions, and help prepare bid tabs.
• Pull together RFQ/RFP responses, bid forms, bonds and signatures, and submit final proposals.
• Hand off awarded-project files to the operations team.

Our client is a growing commercial general contractor working across the Atlanta and Georgia markets. They pursue a steady stream of commercial projects and are building out their preconstruction team to keep pace.

The role

• Set up new bids, run the bid calendar and track every deadline, pre-bid meeting and site visit
• Build subcontractor and supplier lists, issue invitations to bid and chase proposals and coverage
• Log and organize proposals, flag gaps and exclusions, and help prepare bid tabs
• Pull together RFQ/RFP responses, bid forms, bonds and signatures, and submit final proposals
• Hand off awarded-project files to the operations team

What you’ll bring

• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
• Clear, confident communication with estimators, subcontractors, vendors and leadership
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and working knowledge of commercial construction terminology, drawings and specs
• Ownership and follow-through, working both independently and as part of a team
• 2+ years of bid or project coordination in commercial construction, and experience with Bluebeam, BuildingConnected or SmartBid, are a plus
