Job summary

FUJIFILM Sonosite is seeking a Scientific Applications Specialist to support preclinical ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging applications. The role emphasizes travel, training customers, and delivering compelling product demonstrations at customer sites and our training facilities.

The candidate should have an advanced degree in a relevant science, strong imaging software skills, and a proven ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in a relevant scientific discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in preclinical imaging, particularly ultrasound and photoacoustic technology.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including international trips.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales demonstrations of high-resolution ultrasound and photoacoustic equipment at training facility and customer sites (travel involved).
• Travel to trade shows, conferences, and workshops as SME on ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging.
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers at training facility and onsite.
• Offer pre-installation and post-installation application support for the equipment.
• Deliver presentations about products and developments at sites, conferences, and virtually.
• Collect user feedback for product development and collaborate with Product Management.
