The position focuses on supporting Early Formulation Science and Drug Delivery for preclinical studies, including basic in vitro experiments, data interpretation, and

Qualifications

• MS with 2-4 years of experience, or BS with 3-6 years of experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Physics, Physical Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment
• Experience with ELN systems and basic data capture
• Experience with formulation design for preclinical studies

Responsibilities

• Prediction and experimental evaluation of physicochemical properties of potential small molecule drug candidates (solubility and chemical/physical properties)
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of fit for purpose, standard and enabled formulations for preclinical studies (oral, subcutaneous, intravenous, etc)
• Perform dissolution / precipitation/ flux studies of drugs in biorelevant conditions
• Support laboratory experiments for novel research efforts in the area of pharmaceutics and biopharmaceutics.
