Job summary

Valcourt Group in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled woodworker/carpenter to turn raw materials into finished products according to drawings and specifications. You will support our manufacturing team by ensuring high quality, timely, and safe woodworking output.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of production carpentry experience, can read fabrication drawings, operate table saws and other machinery, and perform finishing and quality inspections to meet exact tolerances.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of woodworker/carpenter experience in production.
• Ability to read blueprints and meet tight tolerances.
• Proficient in finishing techniques and quality inspection.
• Lift materials 50+ lbs with team assistance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate woodworking machinery and tools such as table saws, jointers, planers, routers, and sanders.
• Perform hand-tool and power-tool work to produce parts and assemblies.
• Assemble panels using fasteners, adhesives, dowels, and joinery methods.
• Finish work with sanding, staining, painting to meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished components for defects and verify dimensions/tolerances.
• Maintain and calibrate tools; follow safety and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with design/engineering and production teams to improve processes.
