Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an operator to run wire wind machines in Alliance, Nebraska. You will set up, thread, and operate winders, identify materials, and ensure accurate bobbin footage and wire construction for braided hoses.

Responsibilities include documenting output, training new staff, and collaborating with the Value Stream Team Lead to resolve issues while maintaining safety and lean manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Production work preferred but not required.
• Skills: Good verbal and interpersonal communication, basic hand-tool use, sound decision making, math, reading, writing, and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and rethread wire winders.
• Identify raw materials and numbers.
• Adjust settings on counters for bobbin footage.
• Ensure correct wire construction for braided hoses.
• Document good and non-conforming product.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Pull catenaries and report issues to the Value Stream Team Lead.
• Fill out required paperwork daily.
