Job summary

Eaton in Arden, NC is seeking a Wire Harness Sub-Assembly operator for 1st shift to perform fabrication operations on raw materials using metal processing machinery. You will observe safety rules, receive and interpret work orders and drawings, complete paperwork, maintain tools, and inspect final components against specifications.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 35 pounds, and read calipers or tape measures; the company offers equal opportunity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position. CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or other work authorization not offered.
• No relocation benefit offered; candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered. Active-Duty Military candidates are exempt from location restriction.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations.
• Receive work assignments from Supervisor or Team Lead.
• Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings.
• Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation and calibration.
• Inspect final component against work specifications.
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators.
• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily.
• Complete any other tasks from management.
