Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, metal processing, wire drawing, or machine operation preferred.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow production orders and work instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use measuring equipment accurately.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wire drawing machines according to production schedules and specifications.
• Load wire rods and materials into drawing equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to maintain diameter and surface finish.
• Perform routine quality inspections with measuring tools.
• Record production data, quality checks, and downtime information.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and notify maintenance for major problems.
• Replace dies, lubricants, and consumables as needed.
• Follow work instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with material handling and movement of finished products.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and customer requirements.
