Job summary

Leap Windows & Doors is seeking a Service & Measure Technician to serve homeowners across Greensboro/High-Point/Winston-Salem and surrounding NC areas. The role combines on-site service and precise measurement for custom windows and doors, ensuring two-visit accuracy and customer confidence.

You will measure, inspect, and verify order details with customers, employing strong communication to explain technical issues in plain terms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in window and door install, service, measurement, or a related trade.
• Comfort reading a tape measure and doing basic construction math.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Personal smartphone with reliable cell and data service for field apps and documentation.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Comfort using mobile apps and field software for documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Visit homeowners to diagnose and resolve issues with installed windows and doors: hardware, adjustments, glass, seals, and minor repairs.
• Take accurate measurements for each order; verify models, colors, hardware, glass, and operation with customers.
• Ensure measurements are precise and required to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
