Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Systems Assembly Technician in Meridian, Idaho to interpret engineering drawings, assemble pumps, motors, drives, controllers, manifolds and flowmeters, and perform wiring for complete system assemblies.

You will follow quality procedures, use diagnostic tools, and maintain a safe, clean work area while supporting engineering, quality, and quoting activities. This role offers day and swing shifts and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Ability to read assembly blueprints and plumbing/electrical schematics.
• Commercial or industrial plumbing experience.
• Hands-on capability to build sub-assemblies such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Experience using process pipe welding equipment (butt-fusion IR welder, socket welder, orbital welder) and hand/power tools.
• Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience, along with the ability to maintain cleanliness and stewardship of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications to perform plumbing, wiring, and assembly that meet functionality and quality requirements.
• Assemble and install pumps, motors, drives, controllers, manifolds and flowmeters.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and interface wiring for complete system assembly.
• Use measuring instruments and diagnostic devices and follow quality procedures to contribute to the company’s quality program.
• Support manufacturing by maintaining a safe, clean work area and performing miscellaneous tasks as assigned to help engineering, quality, and quoting.
