Job summary

Precision Pumping Systems in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Maintenance Tech/Mechanical Assembly specialist to support our growing production line and facility maintenance.

You will assemble pumping stations from schematics, perform preventive maintenance, fix safety hazards, and ensure quality and safety standards across the shop.

This full-time role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, some driving to Picabo ID, and a dedication to reliable workmanship with a team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience performing basic building and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
• Experience with electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pumping stations per schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams.
• Verify your work and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Report non-conformances to area leads or supervisors as they arise.
• Follow company guidelines and SOPs to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Utilize safe, quality practices and systems at all times.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area.
• Record time for the jobs.

Precision Pumping Systems has been a local and family own manufacturing business since 1972. To continue our growth, PPS is looking to increase our labor force to keep up with production demands from the sales of our increasingly popular turn-key pump stations. We are searching for talented individuals to join our team!

Precision Pumping Systems is taking applications for a duel Maintenance Tech/Mechanical Assembly person doing basic building and equipment maintenance for our facilities in Boise and Picabo ID (minimum traveling) and helping on our production line.

Essential Job Functions for the Maintenance Tech include but are not limited to:

• Maintain company vehicles and shop equipment
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Operating heavy equipment to include, but not limited to: Skid Steer, forklifts, manual transmission heavy vehicles, trailers and boom trucks.
• As needed - Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as
  • Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
  • Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
  • Maintaining the building's HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
  • Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
  • Assisting in renovations of Company buildings/interior
  • Assisting in the care of company lawns/grounds
