Job summary

Tech Etch in Plymouth, MA is seeking a dedicated Flex Etcher to join 1st–3rd shifts. You will perform manual wet chemical tank and conveyor etching on panel substrates and support plating processes, with emphasis on accuracy and throughput.

You will measure panel dimensions with micrometers and thickness gauges, document results, keep a safe workspace, and participate in cross-training. High school diploma required; 1 year in wet etching or plating preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in wet chemical etching, plating, or related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read written instructions clearly and write legibly for accurate documentation.
• Quality-driven mindset with keen attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn plating processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute wet chemical etching per standard work instructions to meet customer specifications.
• Read and apply traveler notes for materials or etch depths as needed.
• Measure panel dimensions with micrometers and thickness gauges to verify conformance.
• Document measurements and process parameters on worksheets and traveler review sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and assist with preventive maintenance of etch equipment.
