Tech Etch in Plymouth, MA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support 1st and 3rd shifts, keeping production lines and facilities running at peak performance.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and handle basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks while adhering to EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA rules. Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related maintenance experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical inclination and hands-on aptitude - comfortable working on diverse equipment.
• Read technical manuals, blueprints and work orders; write legibly for accurate documentation of repairs.
• Basic math for measuring tolerances, calculating fitments, and setting gauges.
• Familiarity with PLC diagnostics and electronic controls for troubleshooting automated systems.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts) and snow-removal/grounds tools.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness to meet quality and safety standards.
• Excellent time-management and ability to multitask under changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey maintenance updates and safety concerns.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Respirator certification (or ability to obtain) and willingness to adhere to respiratory protection protocols.

Mansioni

• Maintain and repair production machines and facility equipment, ensuring uninterrupted production flow.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment and repair as needed.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform maintenance accurately.
• Diagnose equipment problems; replace or repair parts; test and fine-tune settings for performance.
• Regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities (including basic HVAC tasks).
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks (fix leaks, replace wiring, repair doors).
• Use hand/power tools, meters, and material-handling equipment safely.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance during winter months.
• Comply with safety regs; wear PPE; follow lockout/tagout; keep areas clean.
• Document preventive measures and maintain repair inventory; complete facility inspections.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore operations quickly.
• Perform other maintenance duties to support continuous improvement and safety.
