Job summary

Jaquith Industries Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to perform welding operations on varied sheet metal components and welded assemblies. You will set up workstations from drawings, apply proper weld beads, and ensure products pass quality tests.

The role requires at least 3 years of welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic math and organizational skills. Training in Lockout/Tagout, HazCom, and overhead crane is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations and assemble weldments per shop records and drawings.
• Set up workstation using shop drawings and sketches for specific jobs.
• Control welding gun and lay proper beads to satisfy pressure tests.
• Follow quality standards to meet required quality and quantity.
• Obtain first piece inspection and visually inspect/dimensionally verify work.
• Perform grinding to improve weld appearance and finish.
