Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 35 years welding experience OR technical degree with 1 year experience.
• Ability to read and interpret English instructions, drawings, and memos.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, protractors).
• Solid computer skills for navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and perform MIG welding and robotic welding (load/unload).
• Complete metal finishing operations to meet drawings and specifications.
• Follow safety procedures, including Lock Out Tagout, ergonomic practices, and machine start-up/shut-down.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain production efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use our ERP system to manage shop orders and report production data.
• Participate in 5S practices and preventative maintenance.
• Assist in other work areas as needed and work independently with minimal supervision.
