Job summary

AV Gauge & Fixture South in Kentucky is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team. Under the supervision of the CNC Manager, you will fuse metal pieces, cut, grind and shape to match engineering prints, and assemble components for the next production step.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in fabrication/welding, ability to read drawings, attention to detail, and reliable overtime availability. We offer competitive wages and a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education or certification in a related field preferred.
• 2–5+ years of experience as a Fabricator/Welder is an asset.
• Attention to detail and strong decision-making using a risk–to–reward approach.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
• Use power tools and hand tools to cut, grind, and shape metal.
• Assemble fabricated parts using MIG or TIG welding techniques.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of welding equipment.
• Adhere to all company and customer standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
