Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing is seeking a Welder to perform MIG and TIG welds on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts. The role requires reading blueprints, precise work, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position operates on the manufacturing floor and office areas, with two shifts listed (7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm). Candidates should have at least two years of welding experience and a high school diploma or GED; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Two years of MIG or TIG welding experience required.
• Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel preferred.
• Current & valid certification is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand.
• Read & interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine welding requirements.
• MIG or TIG weld Steel, Aluminum or stainless steel.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Must wear PPE, including welding helmet and gloves.
• Inspect grooves and angles using precision measuring tools.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and maintain equipment.
