Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Two years of experience with MIG or TIG welding required.
• Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel preferred.
• Current & valid certification a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand.
• Read & interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• MIG or TIG weld steel, aluminum or stainless steel.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Wear PPE including welding helmet and gloves.
• Use precision tools to inspect grooves and angles.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain equipment.
• Follow company rules and safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly and professionally; arrive on time.
