Job summary

Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is hiring a Welder for a full-time, on-site role in Chandler, AZ. You will fabricate metal components for modular building systems, use MIG/TIG/arc welding, and ensure specs meet engineering standards.

The job requires strong blueprint reading, precise measuring, and a safety-focused mindset. Eligible to work in the United States; high school diploma, welding experience, and possibly a welding certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; welding certificate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of welding experience in manufacturing, fabrication or construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols accurately.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, tools, and materials.
• Commitment to workplace safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Reads blueprints and orders to plan welding operations.
• Prepares, clamps, tacks, and welds parts to specified configurations.
• Operates MIG, TIG, and arc welding equipment as needed.
• Maintains safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
