Job summary

DRiV Incorporated seeks a skilled welder to lay out, fit, and weld mufflers, pipes and catalytic converters in a production setting. You will work from blueprints and route cards, selecting equipment and performing welding with MIG, TIG, and other methods to meet schedules efficiently.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, adhering to QS/TS guidelines, completing required training, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the welding area.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mig welder preferred.
• Must complete Walker in-house certification process.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and weld components per blueprints to meet production schedules.
• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding from route card specifications.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality; follow QS/TS procedures and station control plan.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, MIG, TIG, or gas welding.
• Complete paperwork such as job cards and production/inventory tickets.
• Report safety issues immediately and maintain department housekeeping.
