Job summary

Hendrickson in Missouri is seeking an experienced welder to assist in the timely production of welded parts and to ensure welds meet quality standards.

You will perform MIG, hand and robotic welding, inspect products, read blueprints, and participate in safety programs while maintaining clean, safe work areas. The role requires a high school diploma and welding experience, with the ability to lift up to 65 lbs. Excellent benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior welding experience required.
• Ability to pass welding certification test.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
