Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd is seeking a Welder Fabricator to join our production team in Michigan City IN / South Bend IN area. You will weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping to required specs, fabricate parts per project requirements, and inspect welds to meet ISO 9001 and customer standards.

The role requires 2+ years of welding experience (MIG/TIG/ARC) with Blueprint/P&ID reading, and offers on-site work with potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on welding experience in MIG, TIG, or ARC processes.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties and stainless steel fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs; interpret specifications.
• Experience with PWHT and interpass temperature control is a plus.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping to specs.
• Fabricate parts and structures per project requirements using tools and equipment.
• Inspect welds for quality, adjust to ISO 9001 and customer standards.
• Operate fork trucks, overhead/crane equipment for material movement.
