Job summary

DRiV Incorporated, the aftermarket arm of Tenneco, seeks an experienced welder to lay out, fit, and weld mufflers, pipes, and catalytic converters per blueprint specifications. You will set up equipment, align components, and perform arc/MIG/TIG welds to meet production schedules while upholding QS/TS quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting finished parts, documenting job cards and tickets, and adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous mig welding experience required with ability to read drawings.
• Welding certification and ability to maintain QS/TS documentation.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate measuring gauges.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and weld mufflers, pipes, and converters per blueprints.
• Select equipment and plan layout for efficient production.
• Tack-weld, clamp, and position parts for welding; perform welds.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Complete paperwork such as job cards and inventory tickets; maintain safety.
