Job summary

Qualifications

• Welding setup experience and operation preferred
• Ability to read mechanical welding blueprints and welding symbols

• Basic shop math skills (decimals and fractions)
• Pass welding and brazing tests during probation
• Ability to produce high quality welds and brazed connections
• Ability to work in hot environment and wear welding safety gear

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld and inspect fabricated assemblies and subassemblies
• Perform measuring, layout, copper bar rotor assembly and brazing, grinding and inspection
• Follow BOMs and process specifications as applicable
• Demonstrate capability to print as required and maintain accuracy of counts and part numbers during trial period
• Meet the company welding qualification testing requirements during probation
