Job summary

Premier Door Co. is seeking an experienced Welder to join our small fabrication team. You will weld, inspect, and finish metal components, reading blueprints and following safety standards to ensure precise, durable results.

Working primarily in a tight crew of 3-5, you’ll contribute to varied projects, handle related fabrication tasks as needed, and travel occasionally to sites. Pay is based on experience and skill level.

• 2+ years of professional welding experience.
• Vocational Training in Welding.
• Pride in your work.
• Good time management skills.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge of diverse welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in metal fabrication.

• Effective teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy of welds
• Collaborate effectively with a small team to meet project deadlines
• Use crane, hoist, forklift or other material handling equipment to transport materials and product into and out of the work area as required
• Ability to bend, rotate and lift up to 50lbs.
• Maintain safety standards and follow company protocols
• Inspect and test welded joints for durability and precision
• Travel occasionally to project sites as required
• Ability to fill in where needed and perform tasks other than welding
