Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows in Sharon, MA is seeking a hands-on assembler with a HS diploma or equivalent and manufacturing experience. You will read drawings, perform standard setups, and maintain process conditions while ensuring welds and parts meet quality specs.

You will inspect using micrometers and gauge tools, perform basic SPC, and log labor data in a computer system. This position offers an hourly wage with a 15% second-shift differential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Able to read drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings and documented work instructions.
• Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions, escalating questionable settings.
• Maintain quality and productivity, making minor machine and tooling adjustments.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, verniers, and leak check equipment; forward parts for dimensional inspection when needed.
• Ensure quality using quantitative charting techniques, including SPC.
• Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions and related tasks.
