Job summary

Sacoma Specialty Products, LLC is seeking a hands-on Waterjet Operator to join our on-site manufacturing team. The role focuses on setting up and operating waterjet equipment to cut a variety of materials according to specs, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will load programs, inspect parts, maintain records, and support continuous improvement while collaborating with Engineering and Production to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trained to operate an overhead crane.
• Forklift training or certification preferred.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate the waterjet machine safely and efficiently.
• Load and run cutting programs; inspect part quality.
• Maintain records and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure proper nesting, alignment, and material handling.
• Prepare parts for shipping and manage inventory of waterjet components.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
